The Opportunity
This is a career-track role designed to develop the right candidate into a Project Manager within 3-5 years. You’ll work directly under our Senior Project Managers, taking on real ownership of commercial and industrial mechanical projects from estimating turnover through closeout with structured mentorship every step of the way.

What You’ll Do
Project Management & Execution
- Partner with the Senior Project Managers to manage multiple commercial and industrial projects simultaneously, with responsibility for profitability, schedule, and quality
- Take projects from pre-construction turnover through shop drawings, submittals, equipment buyouts, material flow, labor scheduling, installation, and closeout
- Build and maintain project schedules; track labor hours and profitability with foremen
- Identify and resolve field, contract, and construction conflicts as they arise
Communication & Coordination
- Serve as a key point of contact for owners, architects, engineers, foremen, and subcontractors
- Maintain accurate project documentation: costs, sequencing, events, and progress
- Attend project meetings alongside the Senior PMs to coordinate trades and protect company interests
- Visit jobsites independently for closeout activities, warranty observations, and equipment performance reviews
Financial Ownership
- Learn how to prepare monthly owner invoices and pursue prompt payment, including final retention
- Identify and pursue change order opportunities
- Conduct retrospective reviews after closeout, evaluating job, and subcontractor performance
Leadership Development
- Support foremen on contract scope and installation questions
- Explore alternative construction means, methods, and schedule sequencing

What We’re Looking For
Required
- Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Business Management, or a related field — equivalent construction or trade background also considered
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the tact and diplomacy to manage relationships at every level
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Reliable transportation and a valid driver’s license (regular jobsite travel required)
- Proficiency with standard office software
- Physical ability to navigate active jobsites, including climbing ladders
A Plus
- Internship or co-op experience with a mechanical, electrical, or general contractor
- Familiarity with Procore, Bluebeam, or similar construction management software
- OSHA 10 or OSHA 30 certification
Compensation & Benefits
- Salary: $58,000 – $68,000, based on experience and qualifications
- $1,000 signing bonus
