What Our Sheet Metal Teams Deliver
From Fabrication Shop to Finished Installation
Our sheet metal shop fabricates rectangular, round, and flat oval ductwork in gauges and configurations matched to the project specification — from standard commercial office systems to high-static, high-velocity industrial applications. We produce transitions, offsets, taps, plenums, and custom enclosures for equipment access and architectural coordination.
Fabrication is driven by BIM-generated shop drawings and cut lists, which means every piece is modeled, dimensioned, and verified for fit before it’s cut. This eliminates the field-fabrication rework that occurs when ductwork is built off flat drawings and doesn’t fit the actual ceiling conditions. Our shop-to-field workflow also supports prefabrication — assembling multi-piece duct sections, hangers, and support systems off-site for rapid installation on the jobsite.
Our field installation crews have extensive experience in large-scale and high-tech buildings where ductwork must coordinate tightly with structural steel, electrical cable tray, plumbing mains, and fire protection piping. We install in occupied and unoccupied environments, coordinate with other trades through shared BIM models, and perform duct leakage testing to verify system integrity before startup.
Because our sheet metal team works under the same roof as our HVAC, piping, and controls crews, coordination between ductwork installation and equipment connections is seamless. The crew fabricating the ductwork knows exactly what equipment it’s connecting to, what the control sequence requires, and what access the service team will need post-construction.
What Sets Our Sheet Metal Scope Apart
Shop and Field — One Team, One Standard
In-House Fabrication = Schedule Control
When your sheet metal is fabricated by a third party, lead times are at their mercy. Our in-house shop gives us direct control over fabrication scheduling — we can prioritize critical-path ductwork, respond to field changes same-day, and eliminate the procurement delays that stall other mechanical contractors.
BIM-Driven Fabrication
Every piece of ductwork our shop produces is cut from a BIM-generated model, not hand-measured field sketches. This means precise dimensions, verified fit, and minimal field modification. The result is faster installation, less waste, and tighter duct systems.
Prefabrication That Moves Work Off-Site
Multi-piece duct assemblies, equipment plenums, and hanger systems are assembled in our shop under controlled conditions — then delivered to the jobsite ready to hang. This reduces on-site labor hours, minimizes jobsite congestion, and improves installation quality by moving precision work to an environment where precision is easier to achieve.
Integrated With the Full Mechanical Scope
Our sheet metal team isn’t an isolated trade — they coordinate daily with our pipefitters, plumbers, and controls technicians. Shared BIM models, shared schedules, and shared accountability eliminate the trade-on-trade conflicts that plague projects where ductwork, piping, and controls are performed by different subcontractors.
Sheet Metal Projects We've Delivered
Custom Ductwork Across Eastern PA and NJ
Our sheet metal shop and field crews have fabricated and installed ductwork for healthcare facilities, educational buildings, commercial offices, laboratories, and industrial facilities. Scopes have included standard low-pressure commercial ductwork, high-pressure industrial systems, and specialty enclosures for cleanroom and laboratory applications.
Specific project case studies are in development. Contact our team to discuss sheet metal capabilities for your project.
