Job Description
We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Accounting Assistant to join our finance team. In this vital role, you will support the accounting team by maintaining accurate financial records, performing reconciliations, and assisting with month-end close tasks. This position will help ensure data accuracy and strong internal controls.

Qualifications
- Associate degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field preferred
- 1–3 years of accounting or bookkeeping experience
- Strong understanding of reconciliation processes
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel
- Familiarity with accounting software/ERP systems
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills
- Strong communication skills and ability to work collaboratively
Responsibilities
- Prepare and enter journal entries
- Assist with month-end and year-end closing processes
- Maintain organized financial documentation and digital files
- Support preparation of financial reports and schedules
- Assist with audit preparation and documentation gathering
- Reconcile subledgers to the general ledger monthly
- Perform daily cash receipts
- Reconcile all intercompany accounts
- Review reconciliations for discrepancies and follow up with staff
- Maintain aging and reconciliation schedules
- Assist with fleet maintenance
- Serve as backup support across the accounting team.
- Crosstrain with accounting team to understand processing workflows
