Dual Temp is looking for HVAC Test and Balance Technicians with construction site experience. If you are searching a long-term career opportunity, join Dual Temp. We test, adjust and balance commercial HVAC systems.
What is Testing and Balancing?
Testing and balancing (TAB) involves taking air and water measurements in the realm of commercial HVAC systems and adjusting the flows as required to achieve optimum performance of the building HVAC equipment. The balancing is usually based upon the design flow values provided by a mechanical engineer. The TAB contractor submits a written report which summarizes the testing and balancing and notes any deficiencies found during the Test and Balance work.

Qualifications
- 3 years exp in the construction or service industry
- Proficient in basic math skills
- Basic Computer Skills, Microsoft Excel Basic
- Professional demeanor and appearance
- Strong work ehtic
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
Requirements
- Assist in conducting tests using technical meters and instruments
- Assist in adjusting and balancing system components to meet design specs
- Read and interpret blueprints
- Assist in diagnosing and troubleshooting mechanical systems
- Record test results
