Compressed Air System Service and Repair

Compressed air powers production equipment, drives pneumatic actuators, and supports critical processes across manufacturing, food service, and industrial facilities. When the system loses pressure, the entire operation feels it. Dual Temp Commercial Services provides compressed air system diagnostics, repair, and maintenance for facilities across Eastern Pennsylvania and New Jersey.

Compressed Air Service Across Eastern PA

Pressure Problems Are Rarely Just the Compressor

Gradual pressure decline paired with rising runtime means leaks. An unmaintained distribution system commonly loses 20 to 30 percent of its output through fittings, quick-connect couplings, hose connections, and valve stems, and the compressor absorbs that loss as extra runtime, extra energy, and accelerated wear. Moisture reaching tools and equipment means the dryer is undersized for current demand, has lost refrigerant charge or desiccant capacity, or is sitting behind a clogged drain trap that lets condensate back into the air stream. Rapid cycling points to a pressure switch, a bleeding check valve, an inlet valve fault on a screw compressor, or a receiver too small to buffer demand spikes.

Our technicians evaluate the compressor, dryer, filtration, receiver, distribution piping, and point-of-use regulators as one system. We run ultrasonic leak detection across the plant, tag every leak found, and prioritize repairs by volume lost rather than by ease of access.

Compressed Air Equipment We Service

From the Compressor Room to the Point of Use

Each part of a compressed air system fails differently, and problems in one section routinely present as symptoms in another.

Rotary Screw, Reciprocating & Scroll Compressors

Fixed-speed and variable-speed units across all major brands. Service covers pressure switch and unloader testing, inlet valve and capacity control operation, oil and separator condition, cooler cleaning, and motor amp draw against nameplate. We measure actual plant demand against installed capacity, because short-cycling is often a sizing problem rather than a component failure.

Air Dryers, Filtration & Condensate Drains

Refrigerated and desiccant dryers, coalescing and particulate filtration, and automatic drain traps. We test pressure dew point at operating conditions, verify drain function, check filter differential pressure, and confirm dryer sizing against current load and compressor room temperature. A dryer specified for a cooler room years ago frequently cannot handle today’s moisture load.

Distribution Piping & Point-of-Use

Headers, drops, regulators, lubricators, and connection points throughout the facility. Beyond leak detection and repair, we address pressure drop from undersized or corroded piping, improper drop orientation that carries condensate to tools, and regulators set well above what the equipment requires. Dual Temp’s in-house pipefitters handle new runs, expansions, and full system replacements.
