Capacity Problems Are Rarely Where They Look
A building that will not hold setpoint on a design day is not always short on cooling capacity. Dirty condenser coils raise head pressure and cut output. A stuck economizer floods a rooftop unit with hot outdoor air the compressor then has to fight. A chiller that cannot reject heat because the tower is underperforming trips on high head pressure and looks like a chiller failure. Low airflow from a loaded filter bank drops coil performance across every zone downstream.
Our technicians measure refrigerant pressures, coil delta-T, and airflow against design before recommending anything, and we check the heat rejection side and the control sequence with the same seriousness as the compressor. Adding refrigerant to a system that is not low is the most common and most expensive shortcut in commercial service, and it is one we do not take.

Chillers & Chilled Water Plants
Air-cooled and water-cooled chillers with their pumps, cooling towers, and distribution piping. Capacity shortfalls trace to refrigerant charge, fouled heat exchangers, or compressor wear, while high head pressure trips point to the condenser side. We measure approach temperatures across both heat exchangers and compressor amp draw against rated capacity rather than reading the fault code and guessing.
Rooftop Units & Packaged DX
Packaged rooftop units from 2 tons to 100+ tons carrying the cooling load for most commercial square footage in the region. Failed capacitors, contactors, and condenser fan motors account for the majority of no-cooling calls, and we carry those parts on the truck. Economizer faults and dirty coils account for most of the silent efficiency loss that shows up on the utility bill instead of the thermostat.
Split Systems, VRF & Critical Cooling
Conventional split systems, ductless units, VRF systems, and the dedicated cooling that protects server rooms, MDF closets, and process equipment.
