Our Installation and Commissioning Scope
Complete BAS Deployment From Panel to Front-End
Our installation scope covers every component of the building automation system. We install and wire DDC controllers, mount and calibrate sensors and actuators, build control panels, install network infrastructure (BACnet MSTP/IP, LON), configure supervisory controllers, and set up front-end servers and web-based operator interfaces.
Because Dual Temp is a full-service mechanical contractor, our controls installation is coordinated directly with our HVAC, plumbing, and piping crews. Sensor placement accounts for actual duct and pipe routing. Controller locations are coordinated with electrical panels and structured cabling. This internal coordination eliminates the RFIs, delays, and field conflicts that occur when the controls contractor and the mechanical contractor are different companies.
Commissioning is not an add-on service. Our team performs point-to-point verification, input/output testing, sequence validation, and functional performance testing on every project. We verify that every sensor reads accurately, every actuator strokes correctly, every sequence executes as designed, and every alarm routes properly before the system is handed over to the owner.
What Makes Our Installations Different
Installed by a Mechanical Contractor, Commissioned by Controls Engineers
Coordinated With the Mechanical Scope
Our controls crew works alongside our own HVAC and plumbing teams. Sensor placement, controller locations, and conduit routing are coordinated through the same project schedule, not negotiated between separate subcontractors through RFIs.
Commissioning Included on Every Project
We don’t hand off an installed system and leave. Every installation includes full commissioning: point-to-point verification, sequence testing, and functional performance validation. The system works as designed before we close out the project.
One Team From Design Through Startup
The engineers who designed the system and the technicians who installed it are the same team that commissions and validates it. No handoff between a design firm, an installation crew, and a commissioning agent. Continuous accountability from first drawing to final report.
Open-Protocol Systems
We install BAS systems on open protocols (BACnet, Modbus) so your facility can be serviced, expanded, and integrated by any qualified controls contractor in the future. No proprietary lock-in.
