HVAC Systems We Control
Intelligent Automation for Every HVAC Configuration
Our controls scope covers the full range of commercial HVAC equipment. We program and commission air handling units, rooftop units, chillers, boilers, cooling towers, VRF systems, VAV terminal boxes, fan coil units, and dedicated outdoor air systems. Each system receives custom sequences of operation tailored to the building’s actual operating requirements, not generic templates.
For air-side systems, we program economizer control, demand-controlled ventilation based on CO2 and occupancy, supply air temperature reset, static pressure optimization, and morning warm-up and cool-down sequences. For hydronic systems, we optimize chiller staging, condenser water reset, differential pressure control, and variable-speed pumping to minimize energy consumption while maintaining system capacity.
Every HVAC control installation includes centralized front-end access through a web-based BAS interface, giving facility managers real-time visibility into system status, alarm conditions, trend data, and scheduling from any device. Our programming delivers the control precision that keeps occupants comfortable and energy costs predictable.
Why Our HVAC Controls Are Different
Controls Programmed by a Mechanical Contractor
We Understand What We're Controlling
Most controls contractors program HVAC sequences from a drawing. Our automation team works alongside the crews who install chillers, pipe boilers, and hang ductwork. That mechanical knowledge produces better sequences, faster troubleshooting, and controls that account for real-world system behavior, not just design-day assumptions.
Custom Sequences, Not Templates
Every building operates differently. Our programmers write sequences of operation specific to your equipment, your occupancy patterns, and your performance goals. Template-based programming leaves energy savings on the table and creates comfort problems that are difficult to diagnose.
Open-Protocol Architecture
We design HVAC control systems on open protocols (BACnet, Modbus) so you can service, expand, and integrate your system with any qualified contractor. Your HVAC controls should work for your facility, not lock you into a single vendor.
Cross-Division Service Continuity
After commissioning, Dual Temp’s Commercial Services division provides ongoing HVAC maintenance and repair for the systems our automation team controls. The company that programmed your chiller plant sequence can service the chillers, and the controls team that wrote the sequence understands how the mechanical system was built.
HVAC Controls Projects
HVAC Automation Across Eastern PA and NJ
Dual Temp’s Building Automation Group has designed and commissioned HVAC control systems for commercial offices, healthcare facilities, educational campuses, industrial plants, and multi-tenant buildings across Eastern Pennsylvania and New Jersey. System types include conventional AHU/VAV configurations, chiller plants, VRF systems, and hybrid heating/cooling installations.
